Historic Village, coastal walks and views. The village of Ardersier lies 11 miles east of Inverness where there are great walks and views of the Moray Firth and beyond. There is a rich history of how this area has developed over the centuries from fishing and farming communities, through supporting the building of Fort George, to having oil rigs built at what is now known as the Port of Ardersier. For those more wildlife oriented there is a local naturalist arti.

Exciting news for the youngsters of the boating community with Youth Regattas being proposed in the coming year. Currently those of us under 19 can look forward to trips to Avoch, Portsoy, Ullapool, North Berwick, Portobello, and Largs. SCRA are looking into a Youth series that will be rewarding prizes such as trophies or medals and we all know that though pain is temporary, glory lasts. Stick around for updates on this.
